The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has demanded that the All Progressives Congress (APC) remove what it describes as illegal campaign infrastructure promoting President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid.

In a statement released by its Interim National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, the ADC accused the ruling party of placing political ambitions above governance. The opposition party said the APC had failed to address Nigeria’s worsening economic downturn, persistent security threats, and the ongoing power sector crisis since Tinubu took office.

“For months now, organs of the APC have staged rallies and erected billboards endorsing President Tinubu for a second term — from Abuja to Port Harcourt, Minna, Kano, and Akure,” Abdullahi said.

The ADC urged the APC to focus on resolving urgent national challenges rather than engaging in what it called “premature and unlawful” campaign activities.
