VeryDarkMan releases alleged group chat messages where Iyabo Ojo slams Davido over Mohbad’s justice campaign.
The ongoing tension between actress Iyabo Ojo and social media critic VeryDarkMan (VDM) has taken a new turn after fresh allegations involving Nigerian music star Davido.
VDM, known for his outspoken commentary on celebrity matters, released another screenshot purportedly from a WhatsApp group created after the death of singer Mohbad. The group, according to VDM, was intended to coordinate efforts toward seeking justice for the late artist.
The latest screenshot, which VDM shared on social media, allegedly contained a message from Iyabo Ojo expressing disappointment in Davido’s perceived stance on the Mohbad case.
In the leaked message, Iyabo Ojo reportedly wrote:
“My problem isn’t even with the black whatever — it’s Davido. He claimed he flew down to fight for justice, yet he still follows Naira Marley and even their supporters. Now he’s doing live videos with them? That’s just ‘oju aye.’ To me, it means he was chasing clout. I’m so disappointed. And to think he’s been saying he’s the only superstar artist who stood by Mohbad… just fake love 001.”
This development follows Iyabo Ojo’s recent live broadcast in which she labeled VDM a manipulator. In response to the leaked message, VDM wrote in his caption:
“All of this… and you claim the group was opened for justice for Mohbad.”
Social media reactions intensified after unconfirmed reports surfaced that Davido had unfollowed Iyabo Ojo on Instagram and allegedly withdrawn her invitation to his upcoming wedding.
Neither Davido nor Iyabo Ojo has publicly addressed the unfollowing or the wedding invitation claims at the time of filing this report.
