EXPOSED: How a Nigerian Is Using Fake Drivers Licence In Mauritius
A Nigerian man simply identified as Mustapha Yusuf Opeyemi, based in Mauritius Island, has been revealed on how he’s using fake Nigerian drivers licence in Mauritius Island.
This cross-examination was observed and revealed when a social media user posted a photograph of the Nigerian in a Facebook group, on Sunday, June 1st, 2025, urging the public to beware of him over issues on a rented car.
“Hello, everyone. Make sure you never rent a car with this guy. He rented a car from me and owes me excess money. The post read
“He was given a 2024 car with no issues like they were mentioning”, part of the post added
Moreover, taking a closer observation of the posted drivers licence and international passport, it was noted that the drivers licence was fake. The Nigerian individual used his international passport as a copy of his drivers licence.
Looking at the two images, the names, arrangement format, background design, place of issue, expiring date, and signature column were the same.
Below is a copy of the original Nigerian drivers licence.
However, the Mauritian authorities and land transport management are urged to cross-check foreign drivers’ permits carefully, as many may be fake, and also didn’t undergo proper driving school, which poses a threat to the lives of people.
