FBI Nabs Nigerian “Tech Queen” Over Millions of Dollars Internet Fraud, Faces 20 Years Imprisonment
A Nigerian female tech queen, simply identified as Sapphire Egemasi, has been apprehended by the Federal Bureau of Investigation ( FBI ) over multi-million dollars internet fraud and Money laundering.
According to information, the Nigerian female tech, Sapphire, is accused of orchestrating a giant online scam and has defrauded many U.S.A government agencies of millions of dollars.
It was noted that her arrest is part of a broader probe into high-profile internet scams and complex laundering schemes involving individuals from different countries.
Different sources stated that the arrest of the Nigerian female tech is just the beginning, as law enforcement continues to dig more into her alleged cyber empire and other collaborators connected to her.
However, Sapphire now faces 20 years imprisonment if convicted.
