Music icon 2Baba’s recent trip from Lagos to London takes an unexpected twist, sparking controversy and speculation over a financial dispute abroad.

What began as a routine international journey for legendary Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has turned into a talking point across social media. From the moment he stepped onto the Lagos tarmac to his unexpected clash over cash matters in London, the trip has drawn widespread attention.

In an exclusive interview on Daddy Freeze’s platform, 2Baba’s management team has broken their silence on the recent public altercations involving the legendary singer and his partner, Natasha Osawuru—detailing a tense Lagos airport scene and a fiery financial disagreement in the UK.

According to the team, the conflict ignited at Lagos Airport when fans swarmed 2Baba, leaving Natasha behind. After he circled back to retrieve her, witnesses say she erupted in shouts—a reaction the singer’s representatives suggested may have been fueled by travel stress or pregnancy hormones.

But tensions didn’t land in London. Sources reveal the UK trip escalated when a show promoter handed 2Baba a £3,000 performance allowance. The singer instructed that £1,000 be sent to his son, Nino, in Abuja for school expenses, planning to keep the remainder. Natasha, however, reportedly demanded she receive the full amount. An insider described 2Baba, “visibly upset,” finally telling the promoter: “Give it all to her.”

The management also disclosed Natasha insisted on premium Central London accommodations, despite soaring costs, further straining arrangements.

The statements offer the first official glimpse into events that have sparked widespread public speculation—painting a picture of high-pressure travel, financial friction, and volatile behind-the-scenes dynamics in the star’s inner circle.
