Following a series of fraudulent activities levied against Nigerian work contractor based in Mauritius, simply identified as Gboyega Paul Ojo, popularly known as FORTUNATE, who was once wanted by the Mauritius police, it was alleged that he re-entered the country using a different passport.
Recall that Daily Observer had earlier made a series of publications about the work contractor who usually targeted and employ undocumented individuals, subjecting them to cruel work conditions without payment and threatening these workers through intimidation. But rather for Fortunate to amend his ways, the contractor started to threaten the media outlet publisher and asking him to delete the publications.
According to a memo sighted by Daily Observer signed by Mr. Olalekan Aina, the President Yoruba Association in Mauritius, it was noted that Gboyega Paul Ojo, popularly known as FORTUNATE, was once declared wanted by the Mauritius police force regarding series of scam allegations, but allegedly re-enterd the country using a different passport and identity.
It was noted that on 29th December 2022, the passport and immigration office, Port Louis, Mauritius canceled the residence permit of Mr. Ojo Gboyega, as requested on 27th of December 2022, by his school, Malaysia Consortium for Education Mauritius ( MCEM). This was affirmed and signed by Mr. R. Kooshna, the Sub-inspector of police, Director-General of Immigration.
