India Rolls Out Over 200 Fully-funded Scholarships To Nigerians
The government of India has rolled out fully-funded scholarships to eligible Nigerians as part of its Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation ( ITEC ) Programme.
This is according to a statement signed on Tuesday 22, April 2025, by Kimoebi Imomotimi Ebienfa, the spokesperson, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abuja
It was noted that the scholarship offer is coordinated by the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation Programme and will start from April 2025 to March 2026.
The statement reads: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs wishes to invite qualified Nigerians to apply for fully-funded scholarship offers in different areas of professional training sponsored by the Government of India. The scholarship offer is coordinated by the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Programme and it is from April 2025 to March 2026.
According to the High Commission of India in Abuja, there are two hundred and fifty (250) slots for qualified Nigerians. The list of available courses can be found at https://itecgoi.in/upcoming_courses
However, interested applicants are kindly advised to visit www.itecgoi.in and fill out the online application form. The ITEC Eligibility Criteria and Submission Process are contained in the attached document below.
