Nigerian investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo has reignited her long-standing feud with Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, accusing her of having a past career as a pornographic film actress in the Benin Republic and fabricating claims of being raped.

In a recent Facebook post, Olunloyo resurfaced a 2024 statement in which she alleged that Ojo featured in adult films early in her career before transitioning into mainstream Nollywood. She claimed the actress had deliberately hidden this history in order to maintain a “clean” public image.

According to Olunloyo, Ojo has “been feeding a false narrative for years” by claiming she was raped five times — allegations Olunloyo insists were fabricated for public sympathy, social media engagement, and to conceal her alleged past in the adult film industry. She further claimed that “five different men” appeared with the actress in such films.

Olunloyo also alleged that Ojo fled to Canada after admitting to defaming Nigerian musicians Naira Marley and Sam Larry in connection with the death of singer Mohbad, refusing to issue a written apology.

This is not the first time Olunloyo has made controversial claims about the actress. In June, she alleged that Ojo’s late mother died from complications related to paranoid schizophrenia, further accusing the actress of mistreating her mother before her death.

As of press time, Iyabo Ojo has not publicly responded to the latest round of allegations.
