Mauritian Police Launches Investigation As 58-year-old Woman Dies in Tea Plantation
The men of Mauritius police officers, Grand-Bois, have launched an investigation to shed light into a sudden demise of 58-year-old woman found dead in a tea plantation.
According to information, a dead body of a woman simply identified as Anila Devi Khadoo was found lifeless in a tea farm on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Bois-Cheris.
The late farm worker was identifed to be a resident of Seeruttun Lane, whose dead body bore lacerations on both arms, raising suspicious of foul play.
Following the sudden discovery of the late woman, the men of Mauritius police officers, Grand- Bois police commands were alerted, and they quickly secured the environment scene .
The unforeseen tragedy has left the occupants of the community in shoke as they await answers from the police.
However, police have launched an investigation to bring more light into the disturbing occurrence, and an autopsy is expected to clarify the exact cause of death.
