A young man and his family are reportedly in shock after the bride-to-be, whom they had courted for a long time, suddenly pulled out of their wedding plans—just a day after Sallah.
According to sources, the groom had already spent close to ₦8.5 million on the wedding preparations, with everything set and the date fixed for two days after the festive celebration.
However, the lady reportedly demanded a change in date and later backed out entirely, claiming she was no longer interested.
This has left the groom heartbroken, and the family disappointed, questioning how someone they trusted could act in such a manner after heavy financial and emotional investment.”
According to a social media post, a relative to the groom posted;
“May we not find this as wife material instead of having her as your daughter let miscarriage take place a disgraceful and shameless girl
“A girl who we meet for every long time and we want to marry her and we have done all what his take and the Wedding date has been fixed two days after Sallah
“A day after Sallah, the shameless and disgraceful girl said she is not interested in condition let the date be changed after all the money she collected from my brother almost 8.5 million. He added
