Pastor Adeboye to Lead National Prayers for Nigeria’s Economic Revival
LAGOS, Nigeria — Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), will lead a nationwide prayer session in July aimed at seeking divine intervention for Nigeria’s struggling economy.
The session, themed “Divine Intervention,” will be held during the church’s monthly thanksgiving service at RCCG’s national headquarters in Oyingbo, Lagos. The event is slated for July 2025.
In a statement issued through his Special Assistant on Administration, Pastor Dele Balogun, Adeboye reaffirmed his belief in the power of prayer to transform national fortunes.
He emphasized that spiritual commitment, combined with positive action, is essential to overcoming the country’s current economic difficulties.
The announcement comes amid escalating inflation and widespread economic distress, with millions of Nigerians grappling with rising living costs. RCCG officials say the prayer service is part of a broader spiritual appeal for national healing and economic recovery.
