Pope Francis Surprises Audience As He Show Up in Vetican Square Amid Recovery
Onlookers were surprised as 88-year-old Pope Francis made public appearance in Saint Peter’s Square on Sunday, April 6, 2025.
This surprise came juat two weeks after the pontiff was discharged from Gemelli Hospital following a serious pneumonia.
According to the images obtained by DAILY OBSERVER, the clergyman greeted the audience from his wheelchair after a mass dedicated to the sick.
Pope Francis said in a noticeable frail voice, ” A good Sunday to all. Thank you very much. ”
Recall that he left the hospital on March 23, but he made the first public appearance outing since February 14. The Argentina Pope e was attached to nasal breathing tubes and surrounded by a flurry of smartphones and cameras.
