Governor Fubara Directs 2023 Recruits to RSUBEB for Documentation in Major Quality Assurance Drive
The Rivers State Government has initiated a revalidation exercise for 1,000 teachers recruited in 2023, a decisive step to audit and fortify the teaching workforce in public primary and junior secondary schools across the state.
Governor Siminalayi Fubara approved the measure, which mandates all affected teachers to appear before the Rivers State Universal Basic Education Board (RSUBEB) for official documentation and confirmation of their appointments.
In a public notice issued on Tuesday and signed by the RSUBEB Chairman, Hon. Sam Ogeh, the exercise is scheduled for Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at the board’s state office on Elechi Beach. Proceedings will commence at 10:00 a.m. prompt.
Mandatory Requirements for Affected Teachers
All teachers employed during the 2023 recruitment round are required to attend with their original and photocopies of:

· Posting letters.
· Valid means of identification.
