World’s Tallest Woman Forced To Pay For Six Aircraft Seats To Fly Lying Down
Rumeysa Gelgi, the world tallest woman, has revealed that she has to pay for six plan seats any time she wants to fly.
According to reports, Rumeysa, who is 7ft 0.7 inches tall, was born with Weaver syndrome, a rear condition which causes rapid growth and other health issues.
According to multiple images obtained by DAILY OBSERVER, the woman uses a wheelchair or walker to move around.
It was noted that after turning 28 years, Rumeysa decided to visit every country she could, but traveling isn’t easy for her because of her height. She’s too tall to sit in regular airplane seats, and she has to lie down flat on a stretcher for the entire flight period.
She maintained that she was forced to pay for six seats to make it possible for her to fly, and the seats were removed, replaced with a special stretcher for her.
It was gathered that she first flew in the year 2022, from San Francisco to California in the United States. Due to her condition, she must arrive at the airport four hours early to meet the medical team and pay for all the six seats to use and take up a stretcher.
Despite her condition and difficulties in traveling, she has already visited the United Kingdom, United States, Spanish, and Italy.
” It’s upsetting to hold myself back from visiting remarkable places and experiencing the richness of history,” she stated after her dream to visit Tokyo, Shanghai, and Seoul.
“Everyone deserves the chance to connect with the past, no matter the mobility,” she added.
However, because of her condition, it was learned that she hasn’t traveled by bus or train, which she decided to try out soon
