Controversial relationship therapist, Blessing CEO, has weighed in on the recent public apology issued by Nigerian music icon, Innocent “2Baba” Idibia, following backlash over his statement on male fidelity.

2Baba had come under fire after claiming that men are biologically inclined to be with multiple women. The comment triggered widespread criticism, prompting the singer to issue a public apology to his wife, Natasha Idibia, his children, and his fans.

Reacting to the controversy, Blessing CEO suggested that the apology may not have come from a place of sincerity, but rather pressure from his wife.

“2Baba was crowned a legend because of his truth and authenticity,” she said. “Nigerians love him because he’s a free spirit. That’s the man they embraced.”

She hinted that Natasha may have been behind the singer’s public retraction, implying that she forced him to apologize in order to maintain peace at home. Blessing CEO advised Natasha to better understand and accept her husband’s personality rather than trying to restrain him.

“When a man is with a woman, he should be able to grow and thrive,” she explained. “Look at 2Baba during his time with Annie—he gave us African Queen. Natasha should let him soar. Let’s hear something new, maybe African Princess or Nee Idibia.”

Her comments have sparked heated discussions online. While some supporters applauded her bold take, others criticized her for meddling in personal issues and undermining the importance of accountability in relationships.

As the debate continues, 2Baba himself has remained quiet since issuing the apology, leaving fans and critics speculating about the dynamics behind the scenes.
