The commission announced that the application window will remain open until July 18, 2026, urging interested candidates to complete their submissions within the stipulated timeframe.
According to INEC, the exercise is designed to fill critical election-day positions, including Supervisory Presiding Officers (SPOs), Presiding Officers (POs), Assistant Presiding Officers (APOs), and Registration Area Technical Support (RATECH) staff, among other temporary roles.
The commission emphasized that applicants must meet all eligibility criteria as outlined on its official recruitment portal before applying.
INEC noted that the recruitment drive forms a key part of its broader preparations for the Osun governorship election, aimed at ensuring a transparent, credible, and efficiently managed electoral process through the deployment of competent ad-hoc personnel.
Prospective applicants have been strongly advised to apply only through INEC’s official portal and to steer clear of fraudulent websites or unauthorized platforms.
