Kaduna environmental agency mobilizes residents, strengthens sustainability push, and commends Governor Uba Sani’s support

The Kaduna State Environmental Protection Authority (KEPA) has conducted a comprehensive environmental sanitation exercise across Zaria and surrounding areas as part of activities to commemorate the 2026 World Environment Day.

The exercise, organized under the leadership of Suleiman Ibrahim Dan Alkali, underscores the Authority’s ongoing commitment to improving environmental hygiene, raising public awareness, fostering sustainability practices, and advancing climate action throughout Kaduna State.

KEPA conveyed its gratitude to Uba Sani, the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, for his consistent backing and dedication to the cause of environmental protection.

The Authority further recognized the role of Abubakar Buba, the Honourable Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, commending his efforts in driving initiatives aimed at building a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable Kaduna State.
