Afrobeats superstar says maturity, family life and rest have replaced the party-heavy lifestyle of his early fame.
Afrobeats icon David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has opened up about a major lifestyle shift, revealing that he no longer frequents nightclubs as he did during the early years of his career.
Speaking on The LongForm Podcast on YouTube, the award-winning singer reflected on how fame, wealth and influence at a young age immersed him in a nonstop nightlife culture.
Davido admitted that clubbing was once an almost daily routine, driven by the freedom and power that came with sudden stardom. He described that phase as a time when partying felt inseparable from his identity and career.
However, the singer said those days are firmly behind him. With age and experience, his priorities have evolved, and he now places greater value on rest, spending time at home and embracing his responsibilities as a family man.
According to Davido, maturity has reshaped not only his lifestyle but also his perspective on fame, helping him slow down and focus on what truly matters beyond the spotlight.
