Panic grips Beere–Oja Oba axis as out-of-control truck crashes into bystanders; residents call for urgent emergency response

A truck has reportedly gone out of control along the busy Beere–Oja Oba corridor in Ibadan, Oyo State, crashing into pedestrians and several vehicles and sparking fears of multiple casualties.

Eyewitnesses say the incident occurred on Tuesday, sending shockwaves through the area as the speeding truck ploughed into unsuspecting bystanders and motorists. The scene quickly descended into chaos, with people scrambling for safety.

Residents and passersby have been making frantic calls for emergency services, as videos circulating online show the aftermath of the crash and the scale of the disruption.
