French giants PSG are ready to push for Victor Osimhen, but Galatasaray insist the Nigerian striker will only leave if their €150 million valuation is met in full.
French champions Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have intensified their pursuit of Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, with reports indicating the Ligue 1 giants are prepared to negotiate around the €150 million valuation Galatasaray have placed on the Nigerian forward.
Galatasaray have maintained that Osimhen will not leave Istanbul unless a club meets their asking price in full.
The Turkish champions currently hold a strong position in negotiations, with the 27-year-old striker under contract until the summer of 2029.
PSG’s interest is believed to be driven by tactical needs under manager Luis Enrique, who is reportedly seeking a more physical and direct attacking option amid uncertainty surrounding Gonçalo Ramos’ long-term future at the club.
The development has further intensified PSG’s search for a traditional number nine, with reports describing Osimhen as the ideal fit for the Paris-based side.
Several European heavyweights are also said to be monitoring the Nigerian international’s situation closely.
“Osimhen’s performances have drawn attention from some of Europe’s biggest clubs, with Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Arsenal, Liverpool and Juventus all monitoring his situation closely,” the report stated.
FIFA-licensed agent Mithat Halis also weighed in on the transfer debate, arguing that Osimhen would be an ideal addition for Real Madrid, especially following Karim Benzema’s departure.
“Osimhen is a complete striker. He does not fit the classic number nine role, nor is he only a penalty-box striker. He is an all-round player; he can play with his back to goal, deal with tight defences, and also operate as a second striker,” Halis told AS.
Osimhen has enjoyed outstanding form since joining Galatasaray, recording 57 goals and 16 assists in 73 appearances for the Istanbul club.
His pace, aerial dominance and relentless pressing have established him as one of Europe’s most sought-after forwards.
Despite persistent transfer speculation, Osimhen has repeatedly expressed happiness in Istanbul, insisting that Galatasaray feels like home.
