Nollywood star says new interdenominational platform will focus on prayer, revival, and deeper spiritual growth, not a traditional church structure
Nollywood actress and public figure, Tonto Dikeh, has unveiled a new spiritual initiative, the New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle (NWPT), marking a significant step in her evolving faith journey.
The actress made the announcement on Sunday, describing NWPT as an interdenominational movement dedicated to prayer, revival, spiritual growth, and experiencing the presence of God. According to her, the platform is designed for believers seeking a deeper level of commitment and personal transformation.
Dikeh explained that the vision behind the movement is rooted in the biblical concept of “new wine,” which she says symbolizes a fresh season and a renewed move of God in the lives of participants.
She, however, clarified that the New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle is not intended to function as a conventional church. Rather, it is positioned as a gathering of consecrated believers who come together for prayer meetings, spiritual training, and evangelism.
As part of its structure, NWPT is expected to hold weekly fellowship services every Friday by 6 p.m., creating a consistent space for worship and spiritual engagement.
The development comes after months of heightened public interest in Dikeh’s spiritual life, as the actress has increasingly shared insights into her faith and participated in Christian-related activities.
Her latest move has sparked mixed reactions across social media, with fans and observers expressing curiosity about how the initiative will shape her personal brand and public influence going forward.
While some supporters have applauded the actress for her commitment to spiritual growth, others are watching closely to see how the movement evolves in the coming months.
