Anambra APC Mobilises for Tinubu as Ekwunife Pledges ‘Top-to-Bottom’ Victory in 2027

APC senatorial candidate Uche Ekwunife says Anambra is ready to deliver massive votes for President Tinubu and other party candidates in the 2027 elections.

Senator Uche Ekwunife, the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial candidate for Anambra Central Senatorial District and South-East Zonal Director of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, has pledged to mobilise support for President Bola Tinubu and other APC candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Ekwunife made the commitment on Saturday at a one-day stakeholders’ meeting involving local government and ward officials from Anambra Central Senatorial District.

The meeting was held at the Uche Ekwunife Centre in Awka, where party stakeholders and supporters discussed strategies for strengthening the APC’s presence across the district ahead of the elections.

According to Ekwunife, her supporters and other APC stakeholders in Anambra remain committed to securing victory for the party at all levels.

She said the objective was to ensure that President Tinubu and other APC candidates record strong performances across the state, describing the mobilisation effort as a collective responsibility for party members.

“My interest and the interest of all APC candidates as well as the interest of all other committed members of our great party is to ensure that President Tinubu wins from ‘top to bottom and bottom to top’ in Anambra,” Ekwunife said.

She further pledged to work towards ensuring that Anambra records what she described as massive support for Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.

“I will ensure that Anambra leads the country in delivering massive votes for President Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election on January 16, 2027,” she said.

Ekwunife also urged APC supporters not to be swayed by political slogans from rival parties, specifically referring to the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

“We must not be deceived by the All Progressives Grand Alliance slogan of ‘Progressives are working together in Anambra’. We must vote for Tinubu to enable him complete the developmental projects he has started in the South-East region,” she said.

The APC candidate said greater political participation and commitment from Anambra residents would be necessary to achieve the party’s objectives in the state.

“We must be committed and work hard to ensure our working President wins from top to bottom in Anambra State. Anambra must join the ruling team to improve in all sectors of human existence and this can only come to reality when we all sacrifice our political energy,” she added.

Ekwunife also commended APC leaders in the South-East, including Minister of Works Dave Umahi and the governors of Imo, Ebonyi and Enugu states, Hope Uzodinma, Francis Nwifuru and Peter Mbah respectively.

“As a structural politician, I can tell you, the Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, the Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma, Ebonyi State governor, Francis Nwifuru and their Enugu counterpart, Peter Mbah are really making APC proud in the South-East region,” she said.

The stakeholders’ meeting comes as political parties intensify grassroots mobilisation and preparations for the 2027 elections, with Anambra expected to be an important battleground in the South-East.
