Man alleges secret contact with the singer’s child years ago, sparking controversy as he seeks to pay last respects

Emotions ran high at the funeral of late gospel singer Omije Ojumi following the sudden emergence of an abroad-based man who claims to be the biological father of her children.

In a video that has since circulated widely online, the man alleged that he had been searching for one of the children for years and once made contact through the child’s school, identified as Front Liner. According to him, he spoke with the child via the school’s telephone line and advised the child not to inform their mother, claiming she would prevent further communication.

He further alleged that the singer later discovered the call and reported the incident to the police, leading to the arrest of teachers at the school. These claims have not been independently verified.
