TRUMP SLAMS TINUBU: 'Get on a Plane and Go Home!' – US President Blasts Nigerian President Over Maiduguri Bombings

In a blistering statement, Donald Trump calls out President Tinubu for staying in the UK during "national emergency" after coordinated suicide attacks rock Borno State—killing dozens of innocent civilians.

In an explosive late-night statement, U.S. President Donald Trump has launched a blistering attack on Nigerian President Bola Tinubu following tonight's devastating coordinated suicide bombings in Maiduguri, Borno State.

Trump did not hold back, describing the situation as a "TOTAL DISASTER" as multiple explosions rocked a hospital, a major market, and the post office—leaving scores of innocent Nigerians dead.

"Massive, coordinated suicide bombings tonight in Maiduguri. A hospital, a major market, the post office—all hit! Many innocent people killed," Trump declared.

The U.S. leader then turned his fire directly on President Tinubu, who is currently in the United Kingdom on a "State Visit" while his nation bleeds.

"This is what happens when you have NO LEADERSHIP and open borders for terrorists! While his country is in a state of NATIONAL EMERGENCY, President Tinubu is currently in the UK on a 'State Visit,'" Trump fumed.

“Unbelievable! Shaking hands and having fancy dinners while his people are being blown up? I don't think so! Prime Minister Starmer should tell him to get on a plane and GO HOME IMMEDIATELY. You don't stay abroad during a crisis like this.”

Trump's statement sharply contrasted his vision of leadership against Tinubu's absence:

“A real leader is on the ground with the military and the people, not cutting ribbons in London. Nigeria is a great country with wonderful people, but they are being let down by a government that isn't focused on STRENGTH and SECURITY.”

ThePresident concluded with a stark directive for the Nigerian government:

“Close the borders, find the terrorists, and PROTECT YOUR CITIZENS. Everything else can wait. TRUTH!”
