The dancer’s management says Zlatan Ibile and others have been instrumental in supporting Poco Lee as he faces sexual offence allegations in the United Kingdom.

The management of Nigerian dancer and entertainer Iweh Odinaka, popularly known as Poco Lee, has appealed for restraint in the circulation of negative and unverified narratives surrounding his ongoing legal case in the United Kingdom.

In a statement issued by his manager, Faleye “Dee-Y” Adedoyin, Poco Lee’s management specifically acknowledged the support of Nigerian singer Zlatan Ibile and others involved in the matter.

The management described their involvement as extremely supportive and helpful, saying their efforts had contributed to moving the situation forward.

“Their involvement, support, and effort have been vital to moving things forward,” the statement said.

The management also urged members of the public and the media to refrain from spreading negative or unverified narratives as discussions continue over Poco Lee’s trip to the UK and the circumstances surrounding his court case.

The appeal followed comments by social commentator Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, who questioned reports about the reason for Poco Lee’s trip to the United Kingdom.

VeryDarkMan had questioned claims that the entertainer travelled to the UK for a show involving Nigerian singer Davido. He alleged that Poco Lee travelled for a Zlatan show and questioned why some individuals were defending the entertainer while the legal proceedings remained before the court.

Poco Lee was granted bail on September 11 ahead of a scheduled appearance at Snaresbrook Crown Court on September 15.

However, the plea and trial preparation hearing was adjourned to February 8, 2027. Reports indicated that the adjournment was linked to the unavailability of the charge sheet and Poco Lee’s absence from the hearing.

The trial has subsequently been scheduled for March 8, 2027.

Poco Lee is facing five sexual offence charges in the UK, including attempted rape, two counts of rape and two counts of assault by penetration.

He has denied the allegations and has not been convicted of any offence.

His management has previously urged the public and media not to treat the allegations as evidence of guilt, stressing that the matter remains before the court.

The latest statement similarly called for caution in public commentary while the legal process continues.
