Super Falcons captain scores her first goal since October as PSG beat Paris FC 3–0 to book a final showdown with Lyon
Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade is on course to win her first team trophy with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) Women after helping the club reach the final of the Coupe LFFP.
PSG secured a convincing 3–0 victory over Paris FC Women in the semi-final, with Ajibade among the goalscorers.
Romée Leuchter opened the scoring in the 47th minute before Merveille Kanjinga doubled PSG’s advantage just before the hour mark. Ajibade then sealed the win with her first goal since October, calmly finishing a cut-back inside the box to send the Parisians into the final.
The victory also confirmed PSG’s dominance over their city rivals, marking the second time in a week they have beaten Paris FC.
Celebrating the result on social media, Ajibade wrote: “On to the final.”
PSG will face Lyon in the final on March 14, after Lyon thrashed Dijon 4–0 in the other semi-final.
Ajibade only returned to first-team action in January after being sidelined by injury since November. Since joining PSG, the Nigerian forward has made 10 appearances—nine in the league and one in the cup.
